My role as a doula is to provide calm, compassionate and respectful support, creating a nurturing space where you feel heard, empowered and cared for every step of the way.
Whether you are preparing to welcome your first baby or growing your family, I am here to gently support you through pregnancy and the postpartum period. Together, we'll create the time, space and confidence for you to rest, recover and thrive as you embrace this new chapter.
What is a Doula?
A doula is someone who walks beside you throughout pregnancy, birth and the early days of parenthood, offering calm, compassionate support that is centred around you.
I provide a reassuring presence during your antenatal periods and postpartum, with a listening ear and gentle, personalised care. Whether you need emotional or practical support, signposting for information or simply someone who understands. I'm here to help you feel heard, nurtured and confident throughout your journey, so you can make informed choices.

As a mother of two, and a carer within the family, supporting and caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am. Through my own experiences of pregnancy, birth and motherhood, I understand just how important it is to feel supported, listened to and cared for during one of life's biggest transitions.
I am a certified birth and postnatal doula based in East Hampshire, where I offer gentle, compassionate support throughout the fourth trimester (first 3 months). Every family is unique, which is why I take the time to understand what matters most to you, offering emotional reassurance, practical help and evidence-based guidance that is tailored to your individual journey.
My role isn't to tell you what your experience should look like, it's to walk alongside you, creating a calm, nurturing space where you feel heard, respected, happy and empowered to make the choices that are right for you and your family.
Alongside my own Charlotte Anne Doula practice, I have also had the privilege of supporting families through Doulas Without Borders. Providing voluntary care through this organisation reinforces my belief that every parent deserves kindness, compassionate care and someone in their corner. I work inclusively and believe that everyone deserves to be treated with equal respect and that every baby on this planet is born with the exact same birthrights to a safe, honoured, and loving start.
How I Can Support You
I'm here to support you and your family and your needs, in a way that works for you.
Antenatal Support
I offer care and support with preparing you for the arrival of your newborn. It might be birth planning, newborn advice, relaxation or help with meal preparation or household tasks. I’m here to help create a supportive and relaxed space where you feel safe and informed.
Postpartum Doula
As you welcome your newborn, the postpartum period is a time of immense change. My role is to support you during the first three months after birth. I provide emotional and practical support to help you feel relaxed, nurtured and more confident as you adjust to life after the arrival of your little one. This might include creating nourishing meals or helping you to have space to just be and connect with yourself and your baby.
Nurture Support
I offer adhoc continuous support as your newborn grows beyond the fourth-trimester. You may find you still need caring help & support with light tasks such as meal preparation, sibling care, light housework or to free up your time for or to give you some time for yourself.
Postnatal Massage: Ro Hipping Ceremony
As part of my postnatal care, I also offer the beautiful Ro Hipping Ceremony, a traditional postnatal healing practice taught by Ecuadorian curandera Dr Rocío Alarcón and her ancestors.
This deeply restorative ceremony combines gentle massage with the symbolic closing of the hips after birth, honouring the profound physical and emotional transition into motherhood. It offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your body and mark the completion of your pregnancy and birth journey in a nurturing and meaningful way.
Rohipping massage can be added onto one of our postnatal session. Please let me know if you are interested and we can discuss more.

Working hours:
My core hours are 9am - 5pm. I work evenings on an adhoc bases and really happy to discuss availibility further if this is what you require.
Support Area:
I support families within 40 minutes of Alton, Hampshire. I offer Doula support to places such as Winchester, Basingstoke and all the villages in between as well as West Sussex and Surrey areas such as Farnham and Guildford.
Support: £25 per hour - Block bookings available.
Every family deserves access to compassionate doula support, regardless of their financial circumstances.
